Naruto sat and stared at the body in front of him, limp and pale. The rain had washed away the blood that was profusely draining from his head. Naruto watched the light leave the raven's eyes, and tears fell from his deep blues. "Naruto, I-I want you to read this." He told him, He reached up and gave him the letter, with everything he had left. He died with a smile on his face, because the last person he'd ever see was him. His love, his light. His entire reason for holding on for so long. Naruto clenched to his shirt, and sobbed silently. 'Why him? Why did it have to be someone I loved. Someone I needed.' He shakily looked at the envelope in his hand. It had gold embodied letters on the front that read 'to my love'. As he opened it, the rain lightened up, and had only dampened the letter.
Naruto.
By the time you read this I hope I'm already gone. Leaving you was the hardest thing I've ever done, and so I've done something to make sure I'll never experience this pain again. I want you to know I love you. I've never felt the way I felt about you towards anybody else. You made me laugh, you made me forget. You made me into what I wanted to be. You made me feel. And I hope I've done the same for you. Please, don't loom over me or my death. Move on and be happy, because it's what I would've wanted you to do. Before I met you, I was cold, inconsiderate and I didn't have feelings towards anybody. But it was just so amazing how much you changed me. You may have been an idiot, but you were my idiot. I will always love you, even in death. Please don't forget me.

Naruto continued to sob. The memories that they had were playing over and over again, like a broken record. He wished he could take this all back. He wished he could have him back. Naruto wanted to be with him for an eternity, but this tragic event changed his wish.
Naruto did the only thing he could do. He was going to be with forever. Naruto didn't care what the letter had told him, because the only way he would be truly happy was if he was with him. He took the razor blade, and made a long, deep wound stretching from his elbow, down the tip of his finger. Hoping it would make him lose enough blood. "I'm coming for you, Sasuke. Just hold on." He said. As he lay down beside his lover, he whispered his last words. "We can be together. Forever. Like I promised." And with that the blond closed his eyes and slipped into an eternal sleep.
"So, you came." He whispered, smiling. He caressed the kitsune's face. Naruto giggled, and latched his arm around the Uchiha's neck. "Of course I did. I told you we were going to always be together, no matter what happened." He smiled, and the raven smiled back. "I love you." He whispered to him. "I love you too Sasuke. Always." They walked away happily, hand in hand. This is where they belonged, and both of them knew that finally, they could be happy.
