A/N: This is something my two year old niece did just recently. I guess it's true; you're never too young to go shopping...
Also, I needed a break from the mayhem I was creating in my other fics. Please review!

"Have you seen Peanut? She's not in her room, and someone left the front door open." Daniel's words put a thrill of fear down Vala's spine as she immediately began conjuring up worst case scenarios in which their two year old was viciously stabbed to death.

"I'll take the upstairs, you take the down." She replied as calmly as she could.

"Right." Daniel bolted to one end of the house while she ran up the stairs.

"Peanut?" She called fearfully. Dropping to her knees, Vala looked under Peanut's bed, a feeling of dread rolling through her. Jumping to her feet once again, she pulled the closet door open and glanced inside.

"Peanut, talk to Mommy. Where are you?" She called. Daniel's sudden burst of laughter from downstairs had her racing for the stair once again, finding him at the bottom with a squirming little girl in his arms.

Peanut had divested herself of clothing, leaving only her socks, and was clutching Daniel's wallet tightly, Vala's purse straps wound around her little neck.

"Tell Mommy what you told Daddy." Daniel chuckled. Peanut shyly held up her tiny fist, several credit cards grasped in her fingers.

"New clothes. Go shopping. Peanut call phone, get new shirt." She repeated.

"I found her in our bathroom, exactly as you see her, pulling out every card she could find and talking to herself about what she was going to buy. She takes after you. I can definitely see the resemblance." Daniel broke into a laugh again as Vala's jaw dropped open.

"Peanut go shopping now. Take car. Bye bye, store. Buy new clothes." Peanut continued, once again talking to herself as she realized she wasn't in trouble. Combing through the cards she held, she pulled out the American Express black card before handing the rest to her mother. "For Mommy. One card for Peanut. Peanut share." She smiled.

"What about Daddy?" Daniel asked. Peanut looked at him, her small brow furrowed as if in deep thought. Her eyes turned to the card she clutched, then went to the ones she had given Vala. Leaning over, she pulled three free and handed them to her father.

"Mommy share."

"Yep, definitely our precious little girl. You taught her to share, I taught her to never hand over the AmEx black. My smart big girl." Vala gently kissed her daughter before heaving a sigh of relief.

"How about we get you dressed, then go shopping?" She smiled.

"Shopping!" Peanut exclaimed happily, her one basic need coming to fulfillment.

"We bought her new stuff two weeks ago!" Daniel protested weakly.

"Darling, even you know how fickle good taste is. One minute something is the hottest item in town, the next it's last year's rejects. I don't want it to be said that my little girl had anything less than the best when it comes to fashion. Besides, I remember our rule. Nothing over one hundred dollars unless Peanut and I discuss it with you first." Vala replied.

"New clothes?" Peanut's head swiveled back and forth between them, her once happy eyes turning worried.

"Not too many, right? Give Daddy some slack, just the basics." Daniel tweaked her nose. "And yes, you may buy new clothes." He continued. Peanut heaved a sigh of relief.

"Mommy, car. Shopping!" She giggled.
