Chapter 1: The Quest

One hot summer day, Polly was going to the beach. She packed everything
that she needed, her sunglasses, her lotion, her beach chair, a hat and a
swimming suit. When she got there, she saw her two friends, Willa and Jess.
They seemed like they were having a problem. Polly asked them what was the problem. They said, " The problem is that a women was walking and she fell. She got hurt and she almost broke her bone. Then she asked us, "Can you help me find someone that can help me? "Sure! We'll try!" Said Polly. So Willa and Jess went away trying to ask everybody if they know someone that can help them. They all said "no." Willa and Jess was hopeless. Jess saw Polly swimming in the water. 'Maybe Polly can find someone in the water for help.' Thought Jess. She took Willa's hand and ran to see Polly. They asked her if they fond anyone for help. She said, "no." Now they feel even more hopeless. They tried to search in the water. When they went underwater, they saw a girl that had a tail. They wondered what it was. So they swam closer to the girl. They found out that she was a mermaid. The mermaid had blue scales on her tail. When the mermaid saw them, she said, "What are you looking for? I am the Water Faerie." Then Willa said, "Jess and I had a big problem. There was a woman walking besides us when we were talking. All of a sudden, she just tripped and fell and almost broke her bones. Now Jess and I don't know what to do. Can you help us?" "I can if you bring her to me," said the water faerie. So Jess and Willa swam back up to land and went searching for the woman. When they found her, she was sitting on the floor. "There she is!" said Jess. So Willa and Jess walked up to the woman. When they went up to her, the women asked Jess if she found help. "Yes, we did, but you must know how to swim." "ok, I know how to swim." Replied the woman. "Well then, follow us." Willa and Jess helped the woman up and helped her to the water. When they went underwater, they held onto her because her boo-boo is not well yet. When they got to the water faerie, the water faerie took a close look at her bruises and boo-boos. "Well, well, well, so she is the woman you're talking about. Very well. I shall heal her." The water faerie said a few magical words and. she was healed to perfect health. The woman thanked her and went back up to land. There, she will never forget the faerie that healed her and the two girls named Jess and Willa, that helped her find help.
