Peeta. Alive and well maybe not well but alive and here. Away from Snow. Safe. Here. With me. In a minute I can touch him. See his smile. Hear his laugh. I was walking to Peeta's hospital room right now. What was I going to do or say to him when I saw him. Oh I didn't need to be nervous, Peeta was going to be so happy to see me who knows what he's going to do. I walked straight through the door and I saw all of the doctors step away from him. I walked up to him and I heard him whisper my name. He stood up and I took a step back toward the door. I again heard him say my name and he opened his arms. I ran straight into his arms and I heard him softly crying. I pull back and look at his face for the first time in weeks. He's the first one to speak. "I can't believe I'm here now." he says. I start to cry and he pulls me back towards him so that I'm crying on his shoulder. He runs his fingers through my hair and he whispers "It's okay I'm here now and I'm never leaving your side okay." I whisper back to him "okay." I'm surprised the doctors are leaving us alone" I tell Peeta. "Yeah me too" he says. Right when those words come out of his mouth all these doctors come rushing into the room. They separate me and Peeta and they're telling me to leave. I hear Peeta calling my name looking for me above the doctors. HIs face is the last thing I see before I'm pushed out of the room. Haymitch comes up behind me "Did you get to see him?" I tell him "Yeah, but do you know why fifty doctors are checking up on him." "They need to run some tests to make sure he's still Peeta." "Well that's stupid sending him in so many doctors" I tell him. " Not my rules sweetheart" he tells me. "Come on Coin is requesting another meeting." I groan, but I reluctantly follow him to the meeting room. Finnick, Annie, Johanna, Coin, Plutarch, me, Haymitch and Gale are standing around a table waiting for Coin's great speech. I wonder how Gale's feeling I haven't talked to him since I've been here because I've been so worried about Peeta. Then Coin starts talking about how today we've reunited family, friends and loved ones. She says sorry that it took so long to send a rescue team, but now we have Peeta Mellark, Johanna Msson and Annie Cresta back with us. Right when she finished her sentence a doctor came and entered the room. She grabbed my arm and said "We need you to come to the hospital immediately." I walked out the door and followed her to the hospital wing. I asked her what they needed me for and she said Peeta was going out of control and they needed me to calm him down. Just then I was standing outside his door. I opened his door slowly and walked in. He was lying on his hospital bed. He was crying and was whispering my name over and over. I walked toward him and stopped right beside his bed. His hand was shaking and I slowly grab be it and held it. HIs eyes opened immediately and they landed on me. "Hey" I whisper to him. "Hey" he whispered back to me. "You okay" I ask him. "I thought you were gone I thought you left me." "I didn't leave you I'm right here silly." I slowly yawned and started to close my eyes. "Are you tired" he asks me? "Yeah just a little bit" I tell him. He scoots back on the he'd and pats the space next to him. I slowly slide into the spot next to him. He slowly wraps his arms around me and I laugh because I can feel his breaths on his neck. "I love you" he whispers in my ear. "I love you too" I whisper to him. I can feel him smiling because what I said. "Stay with me " I whisper to him. "Always" he whispers back to me. I fall asleep with a smile on my face.
