Xandria's P.O.V
"Xandria" I hear my sister Jane call for me from the small shack behind a storage building.
"Coming sister" I skip along the small paths back to my sister and see a sad solemn face on her face.
"Is there something wrong?" I kneel down and looked straight into her eyes.
"I need to talk to you about something important" she says looking down at the ground the she looks back up and I nod my head yes.
"I'm enrolling for the army" my heart immediately sank. "Your going to abandon me like mother and father did?" I stand up turning from her.
I felt mad but then again sad. Maybe its better for her, but how am I going to survive.
"Xandria?" she gets up and grabs my shoulder.
"Do whatever the hell you want!" I push her down away from me. "Go and don't come back" she got up picking up a bag I failed to notice before. Without saying anything else I hear her steps get quieter and quieter until I could no longer here them.
"I can survive by myself" memories from when I saw our parents being killed by krogans came rushing back into my mind. Memories of the all the troubles that we had been through.
*Two years later* (Jane is the default name for Shepard, so I used that one)
"Fuck" I crawled under a crate and two bullets hit it just barely missing me. Crawling out of under it I run down the alley taking several turns. "What am I gonna do?" I take another turn heading towards to docking bay.
New York is Earths largest city, naturally being the most dangerous. I missed a payment of the 250,000 debt I own a mob boss and now he's after me. I use my biotics (pull) and knock down a bunch of boxes and crates into the pursuers. "That by me a couple of seconds or so" I hear a loud yell and something busts through. "Krogan?"
Not wanting to know I keep running. "Got you" I feel someone grab my hands then push me down to the ground. "Your dea-" I hear a loud gun shot and the person holding me down fell off of me."The hell?"
I loud sound, like the clicking if heels came from around the corner and a man in a white, short brown hair and several others appeared. "You did well running from them" he signals one of the guys in white battle armor towards the body and he drags it off.
"My name is Miranda Lawson" she says grabbing my hand helping me up. "I'm Xandria, thanks for the help" I wipe some dust off of me. "I"m the head of Cerberus, as payment for saving your life I want you to join us" she smiles reaching her hand out for a hand shake.
"Sounds like a fair deal, sure" the soldiers with him surrounds us. "Lets get going" I nod my head in agreement.
