Eve stared at herself in the mirror as she mentally ticks off the checklist in her brain. Outfit, checked. Make up, checked. Now all that's left with is styling her hair, however never once she had tried styling her own hair. Oh well how horrible can it go?
She took out a book that shows the steps in doing her hair; first clip this, then this, then twist this, lastly tied it up. After struggling with her hair for 10 minutes with her comb, the result was a very frustrated girl with clips and a comb stuck to her hair. Eve only has half an hour before going on a date and there is NO way she is going out looking like this!
"Ahh! Damn instruction book!" She threw the book out the opening door of the bedroom.
"Oww…" But little did she know it would be aim directly at the tenth generation mafia boss.
"Tsuna-kun. I'm so sorry. Are you okay? " Momentarily forgetting about her hair and went out to check on Tsuna. She didn't want Gokudera to bomb her into million pieces if she accidently kills his precious juudaime.
"I-I'm fine…Eve-chan your hair…" He pointed towards her bird-nestle like hair with a shocking expression.
Eve looked left then right checking if anyone saw her at this state before she pulled Tsuna into her room and closed the door.
"Tsuna-kun! I'm going out on date, so I can't possible look this! You need to help me, please… "
"Umm a-alright. First let's get those…things out of your hair. " He sat her down in front of the mirror and starting working on her hair.
Being a no-good, clumsy Tsuna, he was surprisingly good at dealing with a girl's hair. By the end of the 30 minutes he not only successfully removed all the things stuck in her hair, he was also able to plaid a perfect French braid.
"Wow! Tsuna-kun, you are awesome. I never knew that you could do hair. " She gave him a thumb up which he only response to it with a blush.
"I used to help my mother with her hair before she cut it short." Tsuna rubbed the back of his head and smiled awkwardly.
Suddenly, her phone rang and she reached over to pick it up. After hanging up her phone, she kept her head low and her previous enthusiasm was gone.
"What's wrong, Eve-chan?" Tsuna asked with concern.
"My date bailed on me…" Her date actually bailed on her at the last minute, after she put in so much effort to look nice, she even got Tsuna to help her with the hair.
Tsuna couldn't bear seeing Eve looking so disappointed, so he did what any normal guy would have done under that circumstances, "Eve-chan…May-maybe I-I could go out with you on a date instead. I mean it doesn't have to be a d-date. We could just go out together… " Tsuna blushed at how silly he must sound right now.
"Really?" Eve's eyes immediately shone with hope. Tsuna nodded.
"Okay!"
"I'll change and meet you outside."
"Tsuna-kun, where do you want to go?"
"How about the dessert shop near the Plaza? I heard from Kyoko-chan that they have one of the best desserts. "
"Then what are we waiting for hurry up!" Eve grabbed Tsuna's hand and hurry towards the dessert shop. Tsuna might have felt a slight warm tingle feeling in him when their hands touched.
