Bella's Birthday gift
"And last but not least, the present from me." Emmett said presenting me with a medium sized box. Not knowing better he threw it at me. Well he probably did know better and he just wanted to see me scream. Well I did scream and Edward caught it inches from my face. Not even letting me get it yet he swiftly pulled off the wrapping paper and handed the box to me.
"It's a nearly indestructible phone. So no matter how many times you drop it, it won't break. I couldn't even tell that it was a phone from the box because the box looked like some hand carved wood. "Well, I made the box, Rosalie made the phone."
"You made a phone!?" I asked Rosalie surprised.
"Yeah," she said still working on her nails.
"Of course you don't need to be so excited for me to literally hand carve that. (He actually means cutting and doing the basic designs with his hands)
"Would you like me to open the box instead of letting you get a splinter?" Edward asked me.
"If I throw this at your head will the box break?" I asked Edward before throwing it.
"Hmm… probably not."
"Ok." I said. Immediately he ducked but I hadn't thrown it yet. As soon as he sat up I quickly threw it at him and it landed about five feet away from him and hit the wall.
"Nice one Bella." Rosalie said still not looking up from her nails. When you are a vampire do your nails grow still? I wondered. Hmm. Oh well. Edward had gotten the box open and showed me the phone. It was a topaz like color. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Alice steal Edwards phone from her pocket and dial a number. Suddenly my phone started ringing. Unsurprisingly my ring tone was "Clumsy" by Fergie.
"Thanks Rosalie." I muttered.
"No problem bells."
