Happily Ever After.

Sequel to LA or NYC.

Last in this series.

LA or NYC.

It had been over ten years since Gabriella ran from Albuquerque to New York. It had been eight years since she saw Troy again. Eight years since they had gotten together. Seven years since they had moved in together. Six years since Troy had proposed to her. Five years since they had gotten married. Four years since Eva Grace had been born and two years since Michael Williams had been born. It would be three months until the next Bolton baby would be born Madeline (Maddy) Maya.

Now. as Gabriella Bolton was watched her little rugrats run around the garden, she smiled. If she hadn't have run away all those years ago, or gone for coffee with Troy or spontaneously moved in with him, this may never have happened. That would be very bad because she loved her life now. She was a world known freelance journalist. Half her writing was now childcare and children related and the other half was Lakers. She had written profiles for all the players, coaches and managers. She wrote for the Lakers website whenever they needed something adding. She had a regular column in the LA Journal in which she wrote her childcare pieces or whatever she fancied as she had free reign.

Troy was still Lakers captain but at twenty nine almost thirty he was being talked to about retiring. However he was still in his prime, still fit. His injury history was almost clear having only had a broken leg and nose both that had held fine and caused no change to his game. He kept stating he would stay in the Lakers until he had an injury that lead him to not being able to play or until he thought he physically couldn't do it anymore. Then he would help coach.

"Daddy!" shouted Eva, running up to her father who had just appeared on their patio.

Gabriella sat up on her sun lounger and turned her head to look at her gorgeous husband.

"Hey how'd it go?" she asked.

Troy had been in a meeting, for most of the day, about retiring again.

"They still think I should think about retiring in a couple of years. I'm still adamant I'll play until I feel I can't - probably forties," sighed Troy, sitting next to her and pulling their two children up onto his knee.

"Well one of you has to back down soon," sighed Gabriella, ruffling Michael's hair.

"It won't be me," said Troy defiantly, cuddling his daughter close.

Just then, Michael giggled and Troy and Gabriella looked to see he had his hand on Gabriella's stomach.

"Is she kicking again?" asked Troy.

Gabriella nodded and snuggled into her husband's side as they watched their son and daughter run around.

She could see them in five of years. Troy would still be playing or be coaching. Eva would be nine and in elementary school, Michael seven and in elementary. Maddy would be five and in kindergarten and maybe they'd have a couple more kids.

It had been ten years since Gabriella had thought she would never have Troy and it had been eight years since she had had him. She wouldn't trade any second for the world. She was right where she wanted to be in her own happily ever after.
