A Game of Cat and Mouse
The Incubators were the cats;
the Puella Magi were the mice.
It was just a game of cat and mouse
in the end.
The cats always won. Mice may have the numbers
but one cat was enough to clear them all
in couple of weeks.
Mice were stomped.
Cats were petted
and these cats were slick, they caught mice
like spiders coaxing flies to their web.
Mice had the numbers
but, honestly, that only meant that the cats
never had to go hungry
catching them.
