1. Fitting

It was lilac, knitted and felt warm. Exactly what she was looking for. So she tried it on.

"Heh, that suits you well."

She quickly took off the garment and pushed it back onto the shelf. Heat rose to her face when she turned to the speaker. She had made sure no one she knew was in the shop before she tried it on, in case the beret would look bad. It was a secretive action, and now she felt caught by a stranger.

He was leaning against one of the supporting pillars in the small shop, but got up and walked until he was one clothes rack away. "Really, it looks good on you. See for yourself." He gestured to the mirror near her.

"Uh…" A sweep of the shop with her eyes, but it was unnecessary; she already knew no one had entered. The mother and girl choosing bras in the back hadn't spared them a glance, the shop assistant was still folding undies and chewing bubblegum. Hinata put it on again. From the corner of her eye, she saw her reflection not wanting to look back. The stranger was right; it did look better than the few others she had tried. "Thanks."

He grinned.

"Suigetsu! Get me a size medium!"

He caught the blouse flying over the curtain. "Hey hey, I'm not your servant." He winked at Hinata.

She smiled.

"Suigetsu!" The woman in the changing cabin threatened, but he was already on his way.

Background:

Karin (the woman in the changing cabin) had a job interview soon, but coincidentally she met Suigetsu in town. Since Karin still had to spend an hour waiting (she wanted to be sure she was on time), they went for a drink. Suigetsu accidentally made her spill some tea on her blouse and so he had to help getting her a new one in time.
