Captain Jack Sparrow and
the Gold Fish
One fine day while Captain Jack Sparrow was talking to Will, a strange man walked by with a colorful bag in his hands. So Captain Jack Sparrow asked what was in the bag. The man smiled at him and said they were Gold Fish.
Captain Jack Sparrow's eyes went wide with excitement and wonder. How could fish be gold? But, Jack didn't question about that.
When the man started walking away, Jack grabbed his arm and said, "Why are you eating the gold? The Gold Fish!"
The man looked at him strangely and finally handed one out to Jack. Jack looked at it carefully and then asked, "But where could one find such wonderful fish? What body of water and what location?"
The man looked at him and said, "Why don't you know? I got them in a Grocery Store. Don't tell me you don't know where that is!"
Jack looked at the man in wonder and asked, "Well how does one get to this Grocery Store? I've never seen it on the map."
Then, the next thing Captain Jack Sparrow knew was, he was riding in some strange boat with this strange ... well ... stranger. The boat they were in was nothing like anything he had ever seen before. It was enclosed by doors and windows and only had four seats in it. The steering device was also strange. It wasn't like the ones on Jack's ship. It was made of leather too.
Soon Jack couldn't contain his wonder anymore and asked the man, "What kind of boat is this? What do you call it?"
The man looked at Jack and laughed. He had guessed that Jack wasn't from around there but this was just too funny. He thought he might be joking so he played along and said, "This is one of the newest models of a ship. I call it the car."
Captain Jack Sparrow soon found himself standing in front of a huge building that had a big green sign on it that said Genardies. Then the man led Jack into the building where Jack saw fruit and other strange kinds of packages.
Then, they got to the right aisle and Jack ran towards thousands of packages. He grabbed them and threw them up in the air and declaring he was the richest man in the world now. And he swore that he would never eat any of them. He figured because they were gold he couldn't spend it if it was in his stomach.
The man was so struck by Jack's silly remarks and Captain Jack Sparrow made him laugh really hard, that he bought all the packages for him. And to this day forward, Jack still has all of his Gold Fish in a safe he keeps on his ship. Sometimes you can even hear him wandering down the aisle looking for more Gold Fish that he can stash away until he is ready to spend it.
