Sokka and Suki's relationship was one many people would call "on-again off-again."
The started to go out the summer Sokka was 16 ans Suki was 15.
And then Suki left with her friends for the rest of the summer.
Sokka then met Yue, and fell head over heels for her. Yue and Sokka dated for 6 1/2 months untill she died of cancer.
Which left him heart broken for 3 months.
And within that time Sokka and Suki devolped a friendship based on trust.
By the summer Suki and Sokka started dating.
The week before school started they broke up and Sokka dated Ty Lee.
Suki stayed single.
Sokka and Ty Lee lasted for about a week.
Sokka and Suki got back together a month after that.
In January Sokka broke up with Suki since he and Azula decided to date.
After 2 months Sokka broke up with 'her majesty' Azula. Or was it the other way around?
Sokka and Suki got back together in May, only to break up a week into summer.
Throughout that summer Suki dated random guys, no more then twice. And Sokka submersed himself in a summer job. Two weeks into school and Sokka and Suki got back together AGAIN. Throughout their last year in High School they broke up over petty things 5 times and twice becouse Suki just needed Sokka to back off for a while. She could deal and sometimes liked being single.
But in the end they were together if only to break up since they were unsure of where they where they were going to college.
After cutting almost all ties of each other Sokka and Suki ended up arriving at the same college. Sokka and Suki tried again for the 12 time and decided to make it work.
It all went great, going into their 2nd year with only 4 break ups. Thats when they decided they were mature and adult enough to move in together. They had their rough times but mostly it was smoothe sailing. ...Until Suki realised she was pregnant. Sokka was kicked out of the apartment and had to crash on his sisters boyfriends couch. (Sokka had made the dumb suggestion that they should get married since she was pregnant.) After about a week Suki started having morning sickness and mood swings. Thats when she took him back in and he promised not to bring up the m word. After 9 months of sometimes hell and other times hell Sokka and Suki brought their kid into the world. Sokka and Suki realised that they weren't just students or kids anymore and that they had to stay together and be stable for their kid. They tried counseling and comprimise. Which worked. Two years later they got married for their love and not becouse Suki was pregnant again. Or at least thats what they said.
