Dumbledore decided he was going to invite Notwritten to the castle on her birthday for a surprise birthday lunch. He told the teachers she would be her for lunch, because she turns fifty years old today.
When Snape heard this, for he was glad, for he would finally get to meet the person who was responsible for all those pranks years ago.
Notwritten arrived at the castle in time for lunch. The castle was so big and beautiful, for she had never been here before. Dumbledore did not tell her it was a birthday lunch for her, and it was meant as a surprise.
She opened the Great Hall doors, and walked up to the teacher's table. As she was doing this, she heard students making comments on why she was here for, so Dumbledore announced to the students whom, she was and why she was here.
Notwritten saw a banner just go up saying Happy Birthday Notwritten, with this poem on it:
Birthdays come and go. Some are sad, while others are bad. Sometimes it can very happy. Other times it can be like another day, not important at all. Once a year friends, and loved ones are near. To celebrate the day of your birth, So hip, hip, hooray what a wonderful day, To turn fifty years old on this day, Which is to say half a century old? Every year we get older, but we also get wiser. Along the way, through ashes, and thorns, Through these experiences, we are better for this. A year older, but a year better. Happy Birthday to you, and I hope you have a good year. May this year bring you joy, and happiness? For the best is yet to come. Half a century is just half a lifetime.
She was so surprised, and happy that a few tears dropped from her eyes.
Notwritten was given a seat between Dumbledore and Snape. She was a bit nervous, because she was meeting Snape for the first time. She did not know how he would react to meeting her, and she hoped that he did not hold a grudge for those pranks that were played on him several years ago.
Notwritten decided she would apologize for the pranks that were pulled on him several years ago. She did what she decided to and was surprised by his reaction. Snape said that was past done, and do not worry about it.
Then Snape did something that surprised her, he asked her how old, she was. She was not expecting that, so she told him that she was fifty years old today, and it had been a year since her husband had died on her birthday last year.
Snape was shocked that she had lost her husband last year, and he was sorry for her loss. He also said that she should have a better birthday, this year.
Notwritten had a good birthday luncheon, which she was not expecting. She also made some friends with some of the teachers too.
When lunch was over, she had to go home. The teachers were sad to see her leave, but they all wished her Happy Birthday, including Severus Snape.
