Over generations, the Avatar tradition is tosend a different person from a cycle of the bending arts (air, earth, fire, and water) to bring peace and tranquility to people. Now the cycle has changed.
As time passed, the children heroes we know and are fond of: Katara, Sokka, Aang, Toff, grew older, changed, went separate ways, played with each others emotions, fell in love, had children and went on with nature as normal people.
30 years passed…
"Waaaah, Waaah, Waaah!"
Aang: "Kanaya it's okay." Picks Kanaya up, and rocks her gently.
Aang: "Katara, where are you?"
Katara: "Aang, I'm in the back washing the clothes."
Aang walks to the back
Aang: "Katara, I think she wants her uncle."
Katara: "Are you sure she wants Sokka, how can you tell."
Katara and Aang look at Kanaya
Kanaya: "Sok, Sok, Sok."
Katara: "You know that I want her to see Sokka, right, it's just that I can't see Sokka after what he did. He brought shame to our family."
Aang: Sigh "I know… Hey, where's Toff?"
Katara: "Oh, she went to go get supplies, you know food, baby food, milk, two fuirlles, medicine, blankets, pillows."
Aang: "Wait hold up, what's a fuirlle?"
Katara: "A fuirlle is a mix between a fox and a squirrel. It can grow wings that it can make come out itself or not. It is very playful and can climb up trees really quickly.
Aang: "Why do we need one, we got Appa and Momo?"
Katara: "Appa only transports, Momo usually just sleeps now. We need something that will energize Momo, and play with Kanaya, so maybe she doesn't cry so much."
Aang: "Okay, I guess."
Toff opens the door with a bunch of groceries in a big pouch in one of her hands, and two fuirlles jump through the door
Toff: "I'm back!"
Katara: "Hi Toff… Oooh, I like the colors, you got nice fuirlles."
Toff: "What, how can I when I am blind… I guess it is just my lucky day."
The sound of breaking glass, laughter
Shotoka: "Well look who it is, Mito.
What did Sokka do that brought shame to the family? Who is Kanaya, Mito, and Shotoka? What is the relationship between Aang and Katara?
