"It seems weird to celebrate a holiday that isn't even a holiday for us," Draco said as he sat on the bed in the bedroom that they shared at Hermione's relatives' house.
"I know, but I promised them that we would come. My family is just so proud to have a witch in the family and to now have a soon the be wizard in the family, it's almost too much for them. So, just please bare through this for me, will you?" Hermione said looking pleadingly at her fiancé.
"And how could I say 'no' to that? And I always did want a loving, caring, family. And now, even before I've married you, I already have one ready to welcome me," Draco said wrapping his arms around her and kissing her on the top of the head.
"And here I thought that you were marrying me because you love me," Hermione said jokingly squirming in his arms.
"What is this holiday even about?" Draco asked her.
"It's about being thankful about everything that you have and appreciating it," Hermione said as she started to wrap her hair up in a loose bun. "So, what are you thankful for?"
"You, of course," Draco said wrapping his arms around Hermione once more.
Hermione stared lovingly up at him and kissed him on the cheek. "I love you," she said.
"And I love you, too," Draco said turning Hermione around and kissing her soundly on the lips…
