Chapter one

It was the last class period of the day. Geography. And as usual Serena was bored. She started to braid a strand of her golden blonde hair.

'Jesus Christ when is this class going to be over? I don't even understand what the teacher is explaining. Something about... plate tectonics. What the hell is that!?!' she thought to herself.

Serena took out a small piece of mirror and slit herself on her arm. She liked how it felt when the blood trickled down her arm. It made her forget about her problems in life. She licked off some of the blood off her arm.

"Serena Tsukino!! Have why haven't you been paying attention!?!" yelled the geography teacher, Mrs. Porter.

"Oh it's that I uh... cut myself with my pencil by an accident." Lied Serena hoping that the teacher would buy her excuse.

"Oh then you may go to the washroom and rinse it off then." Replied Mrs. Porter.

Serena got up from her desk, grabbed her bag and walked out the classroom. She didn't want to go to the washroom she felt like wandering the hallways. She walked to her locker and unlocked it. She took out a small blade. She looked around to make sure no one was coming. She slowly cut herself on her arm.

"Hey Serena," said a male voice.

Serena turned around and found Andrew looking at her.

"What are you doing Sere? What's that in your hand?" Andrew asked suspiciously

"It's nothing it's just a girl thing." Replied Serena trying to put the blade in her locker but had no luck Andrew reached for it and took it away from her.

"Serena... why are you doing this? I don't understand why. Your life is so."

"Perfect? Yes Andrew that's how you guys see it but it's not for me. Now if you excuse me I will take that back and I better go back to class." Said Serena coldly as she took the blade away from him and shut her locker.

Serena walked away from the confused Andrew making her way back to class.

"Oh Serena what's happened to you? You weren't like this before... please Serena I want to help you I really do!" called out Andrew but it was too late Serena left the school building.
