Age of Seven

i.

When James was seven years old, he was already waiting for his letter. He had been waiting longer than he could remember and James went with his parents to Diagon Alley and saw all the students buying their school supplies and he watched them and he would long for growing up and to be like all the other students, who were all so lucky.

ii.

When Sirius was seven years old, he was already waiting for his letter. He imagined it to be a chance to get away from his mother, because she was always at his throat for everything and he was never what she wanted him to be. He was never Regulus. At the age of seven, he was already different from the rest of his family.

iii.

When Remus was seven years old, he was only hoping for his letter. He was always in a terrible state after full moon and he would cry and cry and cry because he didn't want to be like that and he didn't want to cry so he cried more. He was longing for a letter he thought never would come and he did not know yet that some people in the world are good without reason.

iv.

When Peter was seven years old, he couldn't care less about his letter. His mother had been so proud of her little boy that she dragged him everywhere and he went along because he had nowhere else to go to or no one else be dragged around by. His mother was proud of her little boy and he was proud over the fact that she was proud.

v.

When Lily was seven years old, she knew nothing of her letter. She was happy and oblivious and her sister never showed any sort of sisterly affection while Lily, if she'd been giving the chance, would have shown all of her fondness. She was a muggle and a redhead and happy even though her sister was always jealous of her.

vi.

When Severus was seven years old, he was already waiting for his letter. He had been waiting since he knew of it, if only to get away from his home, and he hoped he would never have to return home after going to school and he practised at home in hope of being best in the class and of being superior.

vii.

When little Harry Potter was seven years old, he knew nothing of his letter and was only miserable but if his parents had been alive, he would have been waiting for his letter too.
