O Tracy!

Long gone are the pure, innocent days

when all we thought of was food, rest and play

no vulgarity touched our souls yet

nor any terrible being have we met

all was sunny with only seldom rain

we felt all mirth and little pain

our world was small

having not a care at all

with only love encompassing everything we knew

cheery faces we wore everyday

brightening and coloring things that used to be gray

though our wars with each other were as diurnal as the sun and nocturnal as the moon,

we pardoned each other, and continued skipping down our lighted path, humming our everlasting, playful tune

the days when the world would forever smile down at us

when everything, be it good or evil, we thought it beauteous

simple-minded were we, O Tracy, back in the small land

we dreamed of only having bliss and joy, and all our friends back in our motherland

O Tracy!

I know all these days are long gone

but now we live in different times, and so we have to move on

now we've left the small land for what we thought was a dream

our memories back in the city, oh how far do they seem

we have moved on with our lives filled with much more people than before

but how I wish we could go back to small land and experience it all once more
