Kagome in her time was a famous singer. That also meant that she was also a very emotional person. She either sang all the time or she thought about singing. This time she thought she was all alone (by she wasn't) and sad so she decided to sing (she knew she was sad.) she decided to sing a song that she wrote called MY WISHES.

She thought that nobody was listening to her but what she didn't know was that sesshomaru was listening to her singing and crying. He usually didn't care about humans but he thought that this human was a very special human. He kept wondering why she was crying so ha decided to go and ask her. He figured It had to do with his" no good half breed brother " as he says. It usually does when he finds her like this. He went up to her and said" sweet heart what's wrong." Kagome then said "snookums." And then she told him everything that had happened.
FLASH BACK
Inuyasha, kikyo, kagome, kilala, songo, shippo, and miroku went out in hunt for the jewel shards. A demon appeared right in front of kikyo and kagome. Kikyo had warned them 5 minutes before so they were prepared. Inuyasha and kikyo were 'together' again and so kagome was already sad about that. Today when the demon appeared kagome and kikyo reached for their bow and arrows at the same time but kikyo shot the demon first.
