Nobody's P.O.V.
A dark haired ninja turned in his sleep. He was dreaming of a six years old memory
Cole's P.O.V.
I wasrunning through an old abandoned mine near my house. "Thorn! Where are you!?" I called out to my play mate. I wasn't surprised when I didn't hear a response. For a nine year old, she's an expert at this game. I shook my head and walked deeper into the mine. I checked behind a rock to see a girl, only a year younger than me, with black hair looking around the other side of the rock. "Found you!' I shouted as I grabbed her arm. Thorn shrieked and spun around to face me. Suddenly the ground began to shake. "RUN!" I shouted as Thorn and I bolted towards the entrance avoiding falling rocks along the way. I quickly ran out of the mine only to come to a sudden halt. "COLE!" I spun around at the sound of Thorn's voice. I looked to see that she had been pined by a fallen rock. I tried to save her but the rest of the mine collapsed before I could even get close to her. The last thing I saw was her emerald eyes full of fear.
I bolted in bed breathing heavily. It was just a dream. I told myself. No, it's not just a dream that all happened before. I sighed before I untangled myself from under the bed sheets and got ready for the day. I sighed again as I joined my brother's for breakfast. "Hey look who's finally up." Kai stated as I sat down next to Lloyd. "Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked with a frown. "You seemed to be having some dream." Kai said. "We thought you wouldn't have wanted to be woken up." I nodded at Jay's words. I really wish they had woken me up though. "Hey you alright dude?" Lloyd asked me as I picked at my food. "Yeah. I just didn't sleep all that well last night." I muttered before finishing up my breakfast. I hope training can help get my mind of my little Thorn.
Sensei's P.O.V.
I sighed as I watched my students train, I made sure to keep a close eye on Cole. I hope that some day he'll find peace and frees himself from the guilt he has placed upon himself. I glanced at Nya, the time has come. I stood up and called my students over. "What is it Sensei?" Zane asked. "I'm afraid there is a new enemy that has made Ninjago its target." My students gasped at my words. "Who's the new enemy?" Lloyd asked. "Morrgona, a powerful sourcer." I answered before I continued. "She is more powerful than you five combined." "Than how are we suppose to defeat her?" Jay asked. "By training a new team of ninjas." My brother said as he stood next to me. "Ya-Yeah!" Kai cheered throwing his fist in the air. "So who are these new ninjas?' Cole asked with a small smile. "Well one is standing right in front of you all." Misako said as she stood next to Nya. "NYA!?" Both Kai and Jay exclaimed in harmony, one with excitement and the other with a shielding tone. "Me!?" Nya gasped. "Yes Nya. You are the kunoichi of fire." I said smiling at the said girl. "Now would you like to see you ninja gi?" Misako asked causing Nya to nod excitedly. Misako giggled before doing spinjitzu and engulfing Nya in the tornado. When she stopped Nya was garbed in red knee length pants and an one sleeved, that went to her elbow, crop top and red flats. "It's beautiful!" Nya gasped as she admired her new outfit. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Kai frowning, even though his eyes sparkled with pride. "So do you know were the other kunoichis are?" Nya asked. "Yes. Set course for Jamanakai Village." I told Nya, causing the said girl to nod. I politely dismissed myself from the room to meditate. I hope they are ready.
Cole's P.O.V.
I sighed as the guys and I watched Kai train Nya. "You seem distressed brother." Zane stated. "Yeah man what's up?" Jay asked putting a hand on my shoulder. "It's nothing. Really." I said with a small smile. I just need to get through the week, then I'll be okay. I looked down at my hands. I'm the master of earth and i couldn't save her. And now I'm suppose to train someone else how to control earth!? How am I suppose to do that!? I heard Zane sigh before glancing at me one last time and walking back inside the Bounty. "If you need anything, you better ask." Jay said before he went inside to play video games. I sighed as I looked up at the sky. How am I going to get threw this? How am I going to keep what happened to my little Thorn from happening again?
