I lied there with my eyes closed feeling my surroundings , the floor was soak it was hard and cold , I hesitated as I opened my eyes readying myself for the setting , I knew I wasn't supposed to be there , I lifted myself and stood there , confused and frightened , heavy raindrops falling everywhere around me , I was surrounded By darkness and mountains of rocks I took caution as I heard a noise Behind me. I looked left ! then right I spun in circles till my head felt like a merry-go-round I wanted to stop But I was too frightened to let my guard down I finally stopped when my legs ached an my breathing became uneven I gave up & sat on the cold hard wet ground , I sat there in the pouring rain nothing happened . I became confused , I began to think it was safe I stood looking for a way to exit the trench , But then I heard him , I heard his torturing laugh he was satisfied that he made me afraid , my face became serious , I thought "this isn't happening this is just a dream Im not really here " I heard a scream , I looked up But I was too late he jumped to the ground & screamed " WHERE IS IT ? WHERE IS IT ? I KNOW YOU HAVE THE PRECIOUS !" I stood there shocked to see him up close for the first time , I tried to scream for help I opened my mouth but no sound came out , a lump grew in my throat that made it impossible to say anything , I tried to scream again But no sound came from my mouth , I run and he caught me By the leg , he pulled me back , I struggled to be free , I was bobbing and weaving jerking and pulling , I Bit him and he yelled with pain , he became irritated he reached for my neck & I could feel his cold wet slimy fingers wrap around my throat he tightened them I stared into his dark yellow eyes and they showed no mercy , he stared back , I grabbed at his arms and tried to free myself but he didn't budge , his fingers wrapped tighter and tighter , I could feel my face turning purple , I tried to breathe in the sweet oxygen I needed I could feel my lungs getting smaller , any second it felt like they'd burst open like a balloon filled w/ too much helium , my head Began to spin , my surroundings began to fade , everything became blurry I thought what to do what too do , I desperately needed to breathe I waited to die and I let the pain wash over me , my ears popped & I thought this is it , I couldn't breathe & all the strength in my body was weakened. Everything went Black , and then oxygen quickly started to fill in my lungs I desperately took in the air , gasping & choking as if I drowned , all my muscles began to work I sprang up, terrified of what I was waking up to , I looked around taking in the setting & I realized it was different , I was home , on a couch . I thought could all that really have been a dream ? I was confused , I felt crazy , I couldn't have made that all up ? I couldn't have felt that much pain and it wasn't real ? was it ? , I looked around to find an answer , I decided to get up and wash my face to clear my head , I looked into my reflection and I looked normal , not drenched at all ,and then I notice , purple markings around my neck I began to panic , was that real ? was he here ? could he see me ? I ran out of my bathroom and into the hallway racing for my room , I ran faster and faster & the walls started to change , I could see patterns of the place I feared , the place where HE was , the walls became black , and then I could hear the rain , and then I felt it , I was no longer in my hallway , I was trapped , in my own personal nightmare , forever .
