A/N: This is all from Bella's POV, right before the big walk down the isle. I know it's not great, but I thought it'd be cute to write it. Because You know she was freaking out before. And I figured I'd add in a cute little moment between her and another not really used character. Everything before the sister in law part was written Friday. After that was added on today Monday. I was writing and had an issue come up which brought me down to Paris for the weekend and I just got back, just a little FYI if it seems to lose pace after that.
Disclaimer: Stepehenie Meyer owns every character in this story.
I was pacing, biting my fingernails in the tiny room at the back of the church, waiting on Emmett. Where was he? He was supposed to be here five minutes ago! I knew I was crazy to ask him to walk me down the isle, after Charlie upmost refused to even attend the wedding, let alone walk me down the isle. I was still pacing when I heard a soft knocking on the door.
"Come in." I called hoarsely, my voice showing how nervous I was. I was staring at the floor as the vampire entered, and stood in front of me.
"You know, that's horrible for your nails." Esme said, laughing softly.
I hugged her softly, and whispered "Esme", too scared to say much more.
"Isabella." She grinned, pulling back from me. "You look stunning."
I smiled back. "Thank you."
"Welcome. I know it's so close to the wedding, and you officially becoming a part of our family, but I want you to have something." She said, pulling out a small box from the tiny purse she carried, and handing it to me.
I grasped the small box in my hand and pulled it open, gasping. "Oh, Esme! It's beautiful!" I said, hugging her.
She laughed again, hugging me back. "You're welcome, hun. I figured now was the right time, seeing as you're about to get married, and you have something old, some new, and something borrowed, but nothing blue." She grinned, taking out the beautiful necklace and placing it around my neck.
"Oh, you're right. It's perfect." I said, still taken back, holding my hair up for her to clasp it. She just laughed and hugged me again.
"I know. Now, I must go. They're about to start, and Emmett's on his way." She said, pulling away and turning to the door. "Congratulations." She called, closing the door. I sighed, smiling. I never thought much of Esme. Just that she was smart, the mother of the family, and the living version of Snow White. But really, she knew what was going on, and was a really sweet person, and I was glad to have her for a mother in law. Hrm.. I'd have to remember to tell her that after the wedding...I thought to myself as a loud banging came to the door.
I sighed, "Come in, Emmett." He bounding in the tiny room, making it even tinier. He grinned down at me. I glared. "You know, Em, you're freaking huge."
He grinned harder. "Yup."
I sighed, "Let's go." I made my way towards the door. He obliged, holding out his arm for me to take. I took it, and we started down the walk way, towards the main church. I could tell he was taking his job very seriously, by the look on his face.
"You know, you're pretty." He said, grinning down at me. I was about to respond when he quickly added, "you know, in a about to be my sister in law type way." He grinned. I swatted his arm, making him laugh.
"Thanks, I guess." I said, grabbing up my trail as we started up the stairs.
"Ready?" He asked, looking down at me.
"As I'll ever be." I took a deep breath, watching the doors open in front of me, the wedding march floating out.
A/N:I thought that was really cute. I thought it up in A.H. again last Thursday (I think). Anyways, review with your thoughts! Thanks.
