As we wait and watch

For our time to fire someone's last shot

There is always' a part of you that asks "Why?"

Our other half replies "Because we were told to"

But all of us have had pain in our life,

No matter who's story, if we remember it or not.

Why do we still cause other's pain, and inflict the sorrows of death

Is killing all we know?
