January 31, a certain red-head named Akashi Seijuurou forgotten about a teal-head's birthday or rather he had something or planned to surprise the birthday celebrant. Meanwhile, in Seirin High, Kuroko was emitting an ominous aura.
"What's wrong with him?" Junpei Hyuuga, Seirin's captain asked.
"I think Akashi forgot that today is his birthday, and I think he still hasn't received any call or text from him," answered Kagami Taiga, their ace.
Kuroko ignite pass the ball towards Kagami.
"Hey! If you're going to get angry, try separating it from basketball. You're going to be the cause of everyone's injury because of your strong passes," exclaimed Taiga.
"Kuroko-kun, since today is your birthday, you can skip practice now and go home first," said Aido Riko, their coach.
"Sumimasen, I'll be going now," Kuroko bowed and then walked out from their gym.
While he was near their gate, he noticed a familiar flash of red patiently standing.
"Tetsuya…"
"Domo." Then Kuroko passed in front of him not looking his into his eyes.
"Tetsuya!" Akashi pulled him inside the car then asked the driver to drive to Tokyo Tower. The teal-head having no choice, remained silent but deep inside that silence, his heart is going doki doki all over, thinking that he is with his Akashi-kun today. Silence overflow between the two of them as Akashi stares on the right window while Kuroko on the left but in the middle of them, their hands were intertwined as the red-head insisted to do that to reduce the teal-head's anger towards him forgetting about his birthday. Half an hour later they had arrived on Tokyo Tower.
At Tokyo Tower
The two were alone in the elevator. "It seems Akashi-kun rented the whole place. We're only the ones who are in here." Kuroko murmured to his self.
They arrived on the deck of Tokyo Tower which surprised Kuroko as the elevator door opens. His eyes were sparkling as he saw the deck full of vanilla milkshakes and in the middle is a single table where the two will have a romantic dinner. At the table was a vase with 3 roses and a candle to be light later. With much surprised to the teal-head, Akashi kneeled down and took Kuroko's left hand and put a silver ring.
"Tetsuya, I'm sorry I didn't have the time to text you or call you this morning because I was currently working for this. Happy Birthday my dearest Tetsuya, I love you." He got up and kissed Kuroko.
Kuroko whose anger subsided because of the milkshake and the proposal, kissed back. After that sweet moment they enjoyed the romantic meal they had. After they had eaten they started looking at the view of Tokyo when a firework was seen in the sky. The teal-head gasped as he saw what was written in the sky. On the first boom, it was written as "Happy Birthday Tetsuya" on the second boom was "I love you" then the next firework were just simple and some were heart shapes. Kuroko didn't know what to feel so he just pulled the red-head into a hug.
"Thank you Sei-kun, thank you. I love you too."
"Forever?"
"Yes, forever."
Then the two shared a chaste kiss again in front of the dazzling Tokyo lights under the colorful sky.
