As they stalked closer I laughed what could they do they knew deep down that i had won long before we had even began. The rich, the poor corrupt the lot of them. The idea of survival of the fittest applied to the world in every sense. You were the strongest predator or you became prey to something else. Humanity the ultimate predator it could kill anything even each other.
I watched waiting for them to see the disaster and see the predator but they were ignorant; evolved they said survival of the fittest after all, in my concrete world where I am the judge, jury and executioner. They call the people who don't add feeling into their lives heartless but really they were just further up the chain of evolution. Man hunted animal to damaging point and killed their planet without interference what could happen but total decimation. All life must come to an end it's the when we are uncertain about. So I took the initiative and climbed up the chain a wolf in sheep's clothing. The monster hidden in the shadows and better predator waiting to kill.
I watched them from the shadows. The pathetic beings, they believed they were strong but they were the very meaning of weak. They claim animals and mindless but they are easily fooled by disguises of kindness unlike animals.
Animals know to run when they sense danger as is their instinct. Humans are the senseless ones they attract danger and wander into the monsters trap far too easily. They make useless weapons, they fight each other making the world a perfect hunting ground. From the roof top I laugh the idiotic beings make it so simple I could do anything and it would be blamed on anything they could explain.
A wolf in sheep's clothing they say, it is more like a monster in human clothing. However unaware the sheep are, that's a good way to describe them though. They like sheep they follow each other blindly, willing to do anything to please their leader.
Humans are mindlessly idiotic some possess some form of common sense however now they seem to be becoming even easier to pick off. They claim to be so connected; yet they will not even pay attention to their surroundings. They are so connected in their minds but really they have never been so alone.
Some people now all you have to do is give them a compliment or talk to them and they are so easily mislead from the flock of humanity. Then the predators pounce, that's when they realise they have followed a stranger and now will pay for it.
So I stand on the roof top smirking down on humanity, laughing at their ignorance and that's when I make my move.
Jumping down from the roof tops I stuck to the shadows silently waiting for someone to come a little too close and then they would be mine.
In this time I often like to think of how easy it is to hide from humanity I mean you don't even have to talk to anyone anymore and all the information I could need is easily found. It's never been easier to be a vampire in the human world. They used to hide away and hunt us and now they are blissfully ignorant. I can buy a house while never meeting a single person, I can make money anonymously it's almost too easy.
I hear them now footsteps heavily hitting the pavement taking a step back into the shadows I lower my head and smile it's like a delivery system. Quickly I start walking down a darkened alley knowing my prey will follow me. Thinking me a weak girl, they think I am their prey it's laughable. Smirking to myself I walk with my head down silently waiting for my prey to come to me.
They always do.
I am now 'surrounded' by three guy's they are circling me and as part of the act I 'cower' in fear all the while laughing to myself. I am now being backed into the darker part of the alley where no one could see us and so I do what I've waited for and take them down. They didn't stand a chance. I knocked them out quickly and quietly the passers-by are none the wiser. I take a little blood from each and leave them alive.
As always I leave them in the alley unconscious and in the dark. Leaving the alley I laugh to myself. They think themselves strong but never have they been so weak.
