Nya's head hurt just thinking about it. Jay made her laugh, but Cole was... not Jay. Jay was light-hearted and fun, Cole was strong and structured.
"Don't tell Jay about this," Cole had said as they held hands, brandishing a hearty smile.
"Don't tell me what?" Nya and Cole jumped away from each other as Jay walked into the room. He was grinning unknowingly, totally oblivious to Nya's internal conflict. She was sure her cheeks were red as she shifted her glance between the two boys. She had always liked Jay. How had that changed in a matter of moments?
"Nothing, Jay!" Nya chuckled nervously, strolling over to him. She was comforted in his warm embrace, comtempt for a moment there. Cole had gone back to reading his comic book and the couple walked out of the room, leaving the earth ninja alone.
"Are you alright, Nya?" Jay eyed her suspiciously. "You seem a little... out of it."
Oh, I'm so out of...
Just hold me now and let it be...
Shelter me...
Comfort me...

Nya gazed up into his gorgeous eyes. "Just a little frazzled, I guess," she replied lamely.
Jay acted like he didn't want to let the matter go, but he did in the end. "Okay. Just wanted to let you know that we're almost there, according to Pixal."
"Got it, Blue Boy." Her lips softly kissed his cheek as they separated.
Once Jay was away from her, Nya relived that scenario in her mind, but replaced Jay with Cole.

Chasing dreams...
She sighed. What was she going to do? Cole was her "Perfect Match", but Jay was her boyfriend. Was Nya really ready to give him up because of some stupid machine?
Well, the girls had said that it had flawless results...
It wouldn't hurt to try other boys, right?
