His rough fingers lightly ghosted over the wings of the butterfly tattoo and he could soon feel goosebumps beneath his fingertips. He smiled to himself at her reaction and continued his route to follow the curve of the wing back to where it joined the body.

The tattoo had always interested him ever since the first time he had laid eyes on it, and he never hid his interest in the marking. She didn't seem to mind, in face she rather enjoyed his touches, but just had never told him. Her reactions were surely enough. His interest in bugs caused a natural interest in the tattoo but there was certainly more to it than that. Just the face that it was on her made it so much more interesting.

His fingers did another circuit of the outline and he felt her laugh ever so slightly. He knew he had been doing this for quite some time and it was really getting late, but neither of them seemed to mind. They were both content just being in each other's company.

He eventually tired of playing with the butterfly and simply slipped his arm around her middle, drawing her naked form close to his warm chest. She sighed contently in his arms and he felt the same contentment wash over him. Life was always perfect when she was in his arms.
