We are pretending that Ruby and Sapphire have different parents (Ya know, not proffeser Birch and Norman, those are Brendan and May's parents)
Chapter 1: The Meeting
Brendan's POV:
Today was a new day. The sun was shining, the Taylows were singing (A/N They were not using sing, they were just, well, chirping) and there were gentle breezes. I heard May say cheerfully:
"-Come on Brendan! Quit being such a Slowpoke! I want to get to Verdanturf town! They are hosting a new pokemon contest thre you know."
I rolled my eyes at her cheerfulness but still couldn't help to smile. Honestly, that girl was everything to me. I got up, and ran after her.
Sapphire's POV:
"-Come on Sapphire! There is going to be a pokemon contest in Verdanturf town." said Ruby.
Wow, SOMEONE was unusualy energetic. It was seven in the mornin' for Arceus' sake! Usually he would never get up in time for this.
May's POV:
I can't wait! I was so exited that I started skipping with my eyes closed. Suddenly, I heared Brendan yell "Watch out!". My eyes flashed open. I suddenly bumped into someone. In seconds, I was sprawled on the floor. I rubbed my forehead and opened my eyes again (A/N assuming she closed her eyes as she fell). A boy who ressembled Brendan sat on the ground right in front of me. A little taken back, I yelled:
"-Who are you!"
"-Hi. I'm Ruby. It's nice to-wait. Sapphire? the boy that was supposedly called "Ruby" said
"-Um, my name isn't Sapphire. I'm May. Wait a minute, "Ruby and Sapphire", those names sound familiar to me." I said, trying to think
Suddenly, I was tackeled in a hug. My "assailant" said:
"-May! It's me Sapphire!"
"-Sapphire! It's great to see you again!" now I remember why the name "Sapphire" was so familiar to me! We had met before! She was one of my BFFs.
Brendan and Ruby suddenly looked confused. "We've met before. It was when she went to challenge my dad's gym.
