Sacred Demon
Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha, nor the characters. I own only this idea and the two original characters displayed.
Short silver hair stood spiked in a fancy manner atop the head of a man dressed in a white haori, a read sash fashioned over his shoulder, extending from the shoulder to the chest to the waist where it was found to be tied to a scabbard, a hilt visible at the back of the man's shoulder. Despite all of this, it was his eyes that caught the attention of people. White sclera and yellow irises gave way to deep brown eyes. He came from a village to the east of where he was now. The man stared forward at the massive creature before him as it raised itself up, bellowing.
The man closed his eyes, breathing deeply before gripping the hilt at his shoulder. He smirked, a fang glistening as he did. "You slimy bastard, don't think for one moment you're getting out of here alive!" He stated. He could feel his blood rushing as the creature, a big, scaly monster reminiscent of a centipede, lunged. The man leaped forward, drawing his sword as he did.
Then, gripping it with both hands, he lifted it and swung it forward in an arc, meeting the creature head on, slicing it in half. "Ha! Told ya you wouldn't get away!" The man boasted, landing on his own two feet. He didn't notice the rock until it hit him in the head. "Ow!" The man shouted, rubbing his head where he'd been hit. His ear twitched at the sudden sound of feminine giggling, and he scowled.
"Figures it'd be you. The hell was that for, Migumi?" He asked. She only laughed harder, stepping out from behind a large rock. "You should really pay more attention, Shinsei, or you're gonna get hurt one day." She replied, smirking. She wore a simple kimono of several shades of pink. "Hurt? Me?! Ha! Right, cuz that's gonna happen." Shinsei said, turning and walking away from the girl.
She scowled, reaching over her shoulder. She began fiddling with something, a strap, before bringing something over her shoulder. Narrowing her eyes, she placed one foot in front of the other, bending her knees. Then, leaping high into the air, she threw it. Shinsei stopped, sensing something, danger, he waited for whatever it was to close in before jumping, dodging it.
His eyes widened. "Hey! What the hell Migumi?!" He called out. "You could've killed me!" Migumi laughed at that. "I thought nothing could hurt you." She said sarcastically. "Nothing like that demon back there! But I'm not taking any risks with Hiraiikotsu!" Shinsei explained.
Migumi only smiled at that, closing her eyes as she caught the boomerang forged from the bones of demons. "Anyway, your training session is done for mom is making dinner and she said she wants you back in the village before nightfall." Migumi said, turning away from him. Shinsei sighed, following after her. So where the hell are my parents, huh? Where is the famous Inuyasha?! Shinsei wondered bitterly, following behind Migumi. "We'll be back, Shinsei. Stay with Mrs. Sango for a while, okay?" Shinsei could still remember his mother bidding him farewell. Shinsei looked into the sky, his eyes distant.
When, mom? When are you coming home? "Shinsei, c'mon! I don't wanna be late!" Shinsei looked ahead, reminded of the girl, rather, the woman leading him, and he smiled at her. "Right!" He called back, racing forward into the sunset, hoping to get home soon. He had worked up quite an appetite, and he couldn't wait to eat dinner.
