Corina never imagined this. What am I kidding, its not every day you get found by a Medu- I mean gorgon, and kill it with a plate. Corina quickly ran, her caramel hair that reached her shoulders flying everywhere. She had a pack full of supplies. She might've stolen it from a hiker but she had too. "Darn gorgons, darn plate, darn dying hiker.." She mumbled, stumbling on a root. She hit the ground, falling like a graceful ballerina- not.

Twisting, she managed to land in a pile of leaves. Thank the gods... Corina thought, getting up and wiping off her blue t-shirt. Her chocolate brown eyes scanned the area before grabbing a large stick. She began making a shelter, using long stems to tie the sticks together. When she got inside, she opened her pack. "Sleeping bag, check, Swiss army knife, check, GPS, check." She mumbled, setting it all down. Soon she found a lighter.

She organised her new shelter. In the middle lay a circle lined by rocks with a pit full of dry grass and twigs. Corina lit the fire, and warmed her hands. She sat on her sleeping bag. Looking through the pack she found a box of Moon Pies. She looked around. "Okay, how did these stay unsquished?" She asked no one in particular. She took one out and ate it.

Corina tried to be happy. Surely running from all she knew was a good idea? It wasn't. She'd left everyone behind. Lindsey, Hayley, Jazzlyn, and Esperanza. Her fire blew out. She grunted. All the fires she'd made had been blown out.

"What a wonderful start to my wild life."
