Downfall of the Snake

Chapter 1

Rain poured as a dark figure stumbled toward the front gates of Konoha. The guards noticed the figure and asked of what was his business in the village. The traveler just gave the guards a weary look; full of sorrow and remorse. He continued walking.
"State your business!" exclaimed one of the guards. The traveler turned again, he had damp silver hair he had no head band and he wore round glasses.
"Tell us your name and state your business, then we might let you in," said the other guards standing in the gateway.
"I do not know who I am, where I am or what I'm doing here," the traveler said in a sorrowful tone. The guards looked at each other and agreed.
"Come with us we'll take you to the Hokage," said the guard and led the mysterious man to the Hokage's office.
There was a knock at the door.
"Come in," Tsunde said while looking at some paper work.
"Lord Hokage, we found this man wandering outside the village and he claims to not even know who he is," said the guard stepping in the office.
"Bring him in," Tsunde said looking up; then the silver haired stranger stepped into the office. Tsunde's jaw slacked.
"Kabuto!" she exclaimed, "What are you doing here!"
"Kabuto? Is that my name?" Kabuto asked.
"What's Orochimaru up to this time?" Tsunde asked in an interrogating tone.
"I don't know what you're talking about, is my name Kabuto?" Kabuto replied in innocent tone.
"Lord Hokage, I believe this man is telling the truth," interjected one of the guards, "This might not be the Kabuto."
"Hmmm. Perhaps you're right; we'll do a DNA test to make sure though," said Tsunde, "until then he is to be kept under strict surveillance."
"Yes ma'am," replied the guard.

A few weeks later the results from the DNA test came back, Tsunde called both Kabuto and Kakashi to her office.
"Thank you both for coming here," Tsunde said sitting down in her chair, "take a seat."
"I understand why you summoned Kabuto here, but why does this concern me?" asked Kakashi sitting in one of the chairs.
"I'll get to that, Kabuto, the test results did confirm you as who we think you are, and," continued Tsunde, "the tests also confirmed that you and Kakashi are in fact brothers."
"WHAT?" exclaimed Kakashi, "I was an only child I should know if I had a younger brother! How could that be?"
"Kakashi calm down, it seams though that Kabuto has lost his memory, and sense you are his closest family we ask that you help take care of him."
"Fine, I'll help, but I still don't think we're brothers. There had to be a mistake," sighed Kakashi, "Kabuto come with me I've got a place you can stay."
