Magic, and Summoners

Pairings: Hiei/Shuichi, One sided: Youko/Hiei, Yusuke/Keiko, Kazuma/Yukina
And in this fic, Yukina and Hiei are not siblings..okay :D; Youko and Shuichi two different people, so don't bother me about that. >.>
Chapter I
It was such a peaceful village, Luin. The sun shone so brightly as if smiling down opon the people, and blessing them. The birds chirped a lovely tune, to the morning air.
Shuichi breathed in the fresh air, as the wind played with his pure, white robes and cherry red hair. He smiled, today would be the day he would become a Summoner, and follow his father's footsteps. Becoming a summoner was not simple, you had to overcome the trials, and pray to the spirits. Usually the praying took about one day, if you're lucky. When Shuichi thought about that he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. But, it had already been decided, there was no turning back now.
Shuichi looked around him, he was in the field a ways from the village, but not totally outside of it. He usually went here to think or just enjoy the scenery.
After a few minutes of looking around, he decided it was time to head back to the village. They were probably looking for him, his mother and the villagers. Shuichi took one last glance at the field, and trekked back toward the village.
Once he arrived, the villagers all gathered around him.
"Ah! Sir Shuichi has arrived! We can begin the ceremony shortly"
The ceremony.. He had forgen about that. Before entering the temple to recieve the first Summon spirit, the townspeople would celebrate for good luck. There was one before, and after getting a summon.
Shuichi scanned the crowd, hoping to see his mother somewhere along there, but was distracted as he felt someone put their shoulder around him.
He looked up and smiled at who it was. It was Yusuke, one of his childhood friends.
"Shuichi! Guess what"
"What, Yusuke" Shuichi couldn't help but smile back at the bright smile his friend was sporting.
"They said I could be one of your guardians"
"Really" Shuichi smiled even more. "That's great"
Shuichi looked out at the crowd searching for his mother once more.
"Hey, uh..Who ya' looking for" questioned Yusuke.
"Um, I'm looking for my mother..Do you happen to know where she is" Shuichi looked at Yusuke, waiting for an answer.
"Oh, yeah! She's inside the temple talking to the priest."
"I see.."
" You should really be getting ready for the ceremony, you know." said Yusuke, as he poked Shuichi on the shoulder.
"Ah! That's right" cried Shuichi as he turned and started running toward his home.
Yusuke chuckled and walked off to get ready for the ceremony himself.
