I was feeling some Placi angst, so how about if he was 'revived' and was dealing with it? Machine Demon Wisel is my card that's going to be in another fic soon.

It was so strange for the android. For so long, he'd been no more than a machine. A tool for a higher being. And that creature was only a human, scarred from the past. They all were. And of them, he was the one given the second chance.

He was walking when he looked into a metallic surface of a building next to him. It was so strange to him. There stood a person with two eyes, much more typical clothing. No strange eyepatch, no data chips laying around, no armor. He'd changed. He'd moved on. Wisel was all that was left.

How had he even got here? Why had he taken the level of Synchros? Was it that the Dragunity deck spoke to him, or was he just crazy? Touching his hand onto the cold metal surface, he watched it repeat the actions. This was him. This was what he had become.

It wasn't fun for him. He'd been found broken by Yuusei a couple months back, who had been nice enough to let him hang with him. "How ironic," the gray-haired machine thought. "That'd he'd let me, someone who tried and nearly killed him, be able to have this much trust. Is the Signer a fool? Or is it something I don't understand?"

This was what had him conflicted at antinomy. He still hated all that had happened, yet he had picked up the destroyers of him. Everyone was gone. Eurea had been killed by a Granel, just as his parents had. Antinomy and Paradox had died, eventually. Granel, Wisel and Skiel shut down eventually. And Z-One had sacrificed himself to save his idol. Truly, a heroic shrimp god. Lucciano and José were gone. The closest things he had to family. He was the one left. The one who held all of Yliaster's fate in his hands, or so he thought.

That's when he realized. He was the one left to carve his fate. The Emperor of Yliaster had his future to himself, however he wished to pave it. He gripped onto the card, 'Machine Demon Wisel'. It was his friend, the one left for him, and it was a Synchro. A LIGHT Synchro. Maybe it was fate pushing him in the right direction.

He then pushed the cards onto the duel disk he had been borrowing from Yuusei. 'Dragunity Darkspear', 'Machine Imperial Wisel En', and 'Machine Emperor Wisel'. "Shining darkness, hidden from the light. Come forth and pave the way towards the future! Synchro Shokan! Appear now, Machine Demon Wisel!" he spoke, as the upgraded version of the monster appeared. It was his choice. It was how he was to go. Placido was free, and he knew how this life would go.

He'd help protect the Momentum. He'd help protect the future. He'd still follow the goals of Yliaster, just in a different way than guided.
