Every student at Hogwarts was pleasantly having their lunch at the Great Hall. At the Slytherin table their Prince was surrounded by his inner circle- Blaise, Pansy and Theo, and at the Gryffindor table their Princess was also surrounded by her inner circle- Harry, Ron and Ginny.
Today the princesses circle was being expanded and to her distain it was for Lavender Brown- after all she was Ronald's girlfriend now. Ginny and Harry shared the princesses point of view and were ignoring 'Lav-Lav's' stupid rant about clothing and make-up, yet still Ron was enchanted, hanging off of every word that left her mouth.
Lavender being slightly more intelligent than her boyfriend picked up on the atmosphere in the group and decided that if all of the attention wasn't on her than she would have to put it back on herself. She saw the princess was having another conversation with Harry and Ginny and immediately saw her target.
With no warning what so ever she threw a glass of water over the princesses head successfully drenching her and her clothes ( which had been upgraded and now fit her frame beautifully). This surprise turn of events caused a loud gasp to leave the princesses mouth, drawing the attention of all the occupants of the Great Hall to stop and watch.
Lavender then - knowing that she had all off the attention back on her- insulted the princesses saying that she was not worthy of being in her presence and that she should go back the world that she belonged in. Everyone in the hall gasped at the harsh words and looked over at the princess to see her stand up and lean over the table to smack Lavender in the face, leaving a very big blotch on her make-up caked face. Before Harry could say Expelliarmus, Lavender was crawling over the table now ready for a fight and then started one because no one was going to stop her , even the professors were frozen in shock at their princesses move.
Now there was a massive crowd around the two girls and people were staring to make bets on who would win the fight. It was not surprising that no one saw the princes actions over all of the shouting and insults. So when the Prince pulled the Princess off Lavenders back and unwound her fingers from her hair by taking her hands in his there was an instant silence and tense atmosphere amongst the students and professors who had now moved to Lavenders side, restraining her.
To the couple in the middle of the circle it seemed that they were the only ones there. Looking into her princes eyes she saw emotions so strong that she started to break down and cry into his waiting embrace. He said soothing words to her and kissed her forehead and nose before kissing her waiting lips. They made out and before things could go further they were interrupted by a throat clearing.
Professor Dumbledore looked at his two top students and started clapping and was soon followed by all occupants of the room- even Snape slowly clapped and said to the prince that he knew it was a girl that changed him for the better.
The prince looked down at his princess that was still in his arms and thought to himself how lucky he is to have tamed the smartest witch of Hogwarts. She looked up at his startling steel grey eyes and thought how lucky she was to tame the Slytherin Sex God and Bad Boy.
That day went down in history being the day that house unity started and the day that Hermione Malfoy ( nee Granger) and Draco Malfoy's secret 5 year relationship was discovered.
