Peter wasn't expecting to find Thor's hammer sitting on the coffee table that morning. He had heard the Avenger's that morning struggling to pick it up from his personal bedroom. He remembered Thor's laughter every time someone gave up. Peter didn't have a chance to pick it up earlier but he did now.

So like any young teen who sees Thor's hammer in the middle of the coffee table, he decided to pick it up. He didn't have to struggle at all. It felt so light weight in his hands. He couldn't believe that he had picked it up. He was stronger than he thought. "I don't know why everyone else was having such a hard time this morning. It's so light." He thought out loud as he swung the hammer around.

He decided that he needed to show someone what he had done so he decided to walk down to Tony's lab to show him. A couple minutes later he ended up in the lab. "Mister Stark?" He called out as he leaned against one of the work benches. "Yeah?" Tony asked as he finished up what he was working on then swirled around in his chair. Tony's eyes immediately grew wide when he saw the hammer in Peter's hand.

"Holy crap! F.R.I.D.A.Y. tell Thor to get down here now!" "Yes sir." Peter was surprised by Tony's excistment and the only thing the two could do while they waited was look at one another in silence. For what felt like years, Thor finally arrived. "Do you see this?" Tony asked him pointing at Peter and the hammer. " Yes, it seems the man of spiders is worthy!" Peter looked between the two in confusion.

"Uhh?" Peter asked cocking his head to the side. "It means your able to pick up the hammer." Tony explained. " And that you have a good heart!" Thor exclaimed. " Okay….Um would you like your hammer back?" Peter asked holding Thor's hammer as far out as he could. "Thank you." Thor said as he walked out of the lab. Tony turned towards him. " Good job, kid." Peter smiled at him in hidden pride. " Maybe one day you can replace him." Peter couldn't help but laugh.
