"Don't worry, Hinata! I'll protect you!" Naruto proclaims loudly. It was adorable the way that he played hero. Chibi drabble. Naruhina
Adorable
The group of six year olds learning about the ninja way laughed and played while their teacher talked with their parents. Little Hinata stood apart from the rest of her peers, too shy to talk to anyone.
"Hey, you!" A purple haired girl placed her hands on her hips. "You're in our space! Move it!"
Hinata gasped as she was shoved to the ground. Tears immediately ran down her cheeks. That hurt!
"Leave her alone!" A blond boy jumped in front of the shy girl to face the bully who was ready to shove Hinata again.
"What do you care? You don't even know her name?" The girl screeched.
The boy gave a sheepish grin and gazed behind him to look at the girl on the ground, "Hey, what's your name?"
"H-Hinata." She stuttered out as he smiled brightly towards her.
"My name's Naruto! Don't worry, Hinata! I'll protect you!" Naruto proclaimed loudly as he faced off against the bully. The mean girl backed off after calling him a freak and ran to her parents. He giggled.
Hinata remembered she was still on the ground. She pushed herself up and bowed to the boy, "t-thank you s-so much!"
"It's no problem."
"I-it is!" Hinata argued. "N-no one else would have defended me!"
Naruto gave her a far off gaze. He looked sad. "Yeah, no one defends me either."
"I-I would…If I wasn't so shy…"
He gave the shy girl another bright smile and kissed her on the cheek. "Thank you!" He ran off afterwards only to get in a yelling match with the teacher.
Hinata touched her cheek. He's so nice.
She didn't realize that later on that nice boy would forget the whole thing. It didn't matter to her. She would never forget the day she fell in love.
Besides, it was so adorable the way he played hero to Hinata, who was clearly his damsel in distress…every time…
