(POV: Narrator; AKA: Nightwing)
It seems fate, cannot come without a dramatic sense of irony.
I would've thought, after losing my son to the bastard, that If I had undergone his insane and complicated quests, that I would've got my precious Eclipse back.
Again, fate doesn't come without irony.
After being double crossed by not one, but two evil Germans, you'd think that I would've seen that coming.
Let's talk about fate. A word more commonly known as prophecy. Or in my terms, oblivion.
Most people don't know about the fine line that exists between fate and destiny. They aren't the same.
As for irony, the definition of the word irony is basically when something that is different from what you expected to happen.
I'd take oblivion over fate and irony any day.
(POV Change: Narrator 2; AKA: Zen)
You'd think, after losing my daughter, and then getting tricked about it, I would not be a happy camper.
Truth is, I don't know what I felt when I was double-crossed again. Notice the again.
I think that I was just so broken inside, so emotionally drained, that I just wasn't that surprised when the jerk tricked us again.
Who would've guessed he had gone this far though?
(POV Change: Narrator 3; AKA: Beauty)
I seem to be caught in the middle of a never ending loop.
Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
A wise man once said, that 'Wit without measure is man's greatest treasure.'
That's a load of steaming horse shit.
Man's greatest treasure is greed. It's sin, violence, and cruelty.
And believe me when I tell you, I can give you fifteen different examples of the word, cruel.
