Alana looked at the poster of Legolas in her room dreaming of romance and danger. She wished she could go to middle earth in real life instead of just dreams. She looked at the poster so long Legolas looked back at her. Then he smiled. Then he held out his hand.

"Come with me" he said.

Alana giggled and took his hand. He pulled her into the poster and she was in the forest with him. "I love you" she said.

"I love you too that's why I brought you here" Legolas said. He kissed her and her toes curled. He smelled like spring rain, honey and flowers.

She smiled and giggled. "Can we go on an adventure?" she said.

"That;s why I brought you here. You'd better take this bow for protection. He gave her a bow and a quiver of arrows..

She took them and they walked through the forest. It didn't seem dangerous but she knew there was danger around every tree. Sure enough they hadn't gone far when some orcs attacked. Alana screamed and hid behind a tree. Legolas knew she was scared so he fought the orcs and they all ran away.

"Have you ever used a bow?" Legolas said.

"No I'm sorry" Alana said.

"Let me show you how" Legolas said. He held her in his arms and showed her how to hold the bow and arrow. She tried to pay attention but he could only think of how good it felt to be held in his arms.

"Got it?" Legolas said.

"Yes I think so" Alana said. She knew it was a lie but she wasn't scared. Legolas would protect her.

They went to Legolas's house and he showed her his room. They played a game like checkers but with colored stones. They went to supper and she met Legolas's father. He looked so serious Alana got scared but then he smiled and she thought he was almost as pretty as Legolas. They ate and then Alana and Legolas went out to look at the stars.

"Why do elves like stars so much?" Alana said. She knew the answer but wanted to hear it from Legolas.

"Elves like stars because they keep our memories" Legolas said. He pointed to a really bright star overhead. "That one is my memories of you" Legolas said.

"How can that be we never met until toay?" Alana said in surprise.

I have been watching you for a long time" Legolas said. "I saw you lose your first tooth and get an ipad for Christmas. I saw you cry when that girl was mean to you and laugh when you got an A on that test. I love your laughter most of all.

It was like Alana could hear the stars above laughing and the laugh was just like hers. "How can this be?" she said.

"That is my memory of your laugh and the star is playing it back" Legolas said and smiled.

Alana smiled and laughed. "Will that be a star too" she said shyly.

"Yes it will" Legolas said "He pointed at a smaller star next to the bright one. That's it there"

Alana hugged him. She was so happy.

They went back inside and Legolas's father said it was time for bed. "You have a long trip tomorrow. Legolas is going to Erabor to fight a dragon and you're going too"

"A Dragon!" Alana said. Her eyes got big. She thought to herself she would have to ask Legolas to show her how to use a bow again and this time I need to pay attention she thought.

I'll write more if people like this.
