This was just getting ridiculous.
Joan had become rather fond of that red button as of late-a little too fond, in Tate's opinion. This was the last straw.
Tate gazed down at her flowery top. Her hair, now much shorter and wavier, feels weird as it brushes her shoulders. As she looks up at Jordan, in his button down shirt and helmet hair, she vaguely wishes she had brought a camera.
She opens her mouth to speak, intending to say something along the lines of, 'Hey, Jord, you up for murdering your moirail?' but what comes out are the words, "Jordan, listen," in a rather sing-songy sort of way, her voice far clearer and more melodic than she can ever remember it being.
She pauses for a moment, confused, but then mentally concedes that that's close enough, and opens her mouth to speak once more, now that she has his attention. "I gotta say what's on my mind," she sings, somewhat accidentally. Her eyebrows furrow and she raises a hand to her lips in confusion, but can't stop herself from continuing, "Something about us.../Doesn't seem right these days."
Jordan looks at her, equally confused and more than a little amused, and sings, "What the hell?" to which she responds,
"Life keeps getting in the way...," with a pained expression.
In his confusion, however, Jordan is able to fully register what is going on.
They've been deposited in the High School Musical universe, that much is fairly obvious. Tate is apparently Gabriella, and that makes him...Troy?
Oh, wait till the Shipping Trio gets a load of this.
