Author's note: YAY! New story! :)

P.S: I don't own Inuyasha (obviously)

Sesshomaru walked near where Inuyasha and his friends were camping. It had been many years and everyone was older. At her father's side stood half-demon Aiko. She was a small child, with black hair like her mother's and beautiful eyes like her father. She had small ears at the top of her head like Inuyasha, her father's half-brother, except her ears were black with little silver tips at the end.

Aiko was very sad. She knew something bad had happened to her mother, though Sesshomaru never told her, she figured her mother was dead. Sesshomaru looked down at his daughter, he knew he shouldn't tell her that her mother died at the hands of some lowly demon. Well, half-demon. His brother, to be precise. Rin had been killed when Inuyasha used his Wind Scar to kill a demon who had kidnapped her. But Inuyasha didn't know who he had killed along with the demon.

Sesshomaru was going to kill that stupid brother of his.

"Aiko, stay here." Sesshomaru instructed as he stopped walking.

"O-Okay." Aiko said nervously.

He hated to leave her alone, but Sesshomaru had no choice. He walked away to go find Inuyasha.

Inuyasha was sitting on a branch of a low tree, watching as a much older Shippo and Kagome cooked food over a fire. Shippo was an adult now, and Kagome was also.

Inuyasha sniffed the air, and scowled when he smelt- kin? No, that wasn't Sesshomaru. But... who was it then? It could be a trap.

"Kagome, stay here." Inuyasha said as he jumped down from the tree and bounded off.

"Okay!" Kagome called after him as she and Shippo started eating.

Inuyasha soon came to who he had smelled earlier, a child. To be more precise, a half demon.

Aiko looked up at the half-demon who'd approached her. She knew that he was her uncle. She sniffed the air. He smells like mother... and reeks of blood she thought. She put two and two together and realized HE must of killed her mother. She growled at him and Inuyasha stepped back.

She can't be family, could she? The only way that would happen was if- no way. Sesshomaru wouldn't have fallen in love with a human. Right? But that would be the only logical explanation Inuyasha thought, frowning. He kneeled down to Aiko's level.

"Where's your father?" Inuyasha asked her as nonthreatening as he could.

Aiko pointed behind Inuyasha, and he turned and didn't see anyone.

"Stay here." He said, and without waiting for an answer, he went off in the direction Aiko had pointed.

Inuyasha soon came to a gruesome sight. Sesshomaru was laying facefirst in a puddle of mud, blood pooled around him and a frightening demon stood looking over him. Inuyasha used his backlash wave to kill the demon then went over to his brother.

Inuyasha noticed something strange. Sesshomaru's hair was black, and he had purple ears. This isn't Sesshomaru Inuyasha thought, he turned the figure around and wiped off the mud on his face. A crescent moon on the man's forhead and two stripes on his cheeks greeted him. Inuyasha dropped Sesshomaru.

"It is him!" Inuyasha said, still in shock.

Sesshomaru twitched slightly and opened his eyes, looking at his brother. Inuyasha was looking at him like he'd seen a ghost. Sesshomaru sat up, his ear twitched. He froze. His ears swiveled.

Inuyasha looked at him, he could tell that Sesshomaru was surprised at his new features.

Sesshomaru reached a hand up and touched his right ear.

"What the hell?" Was all the once full demon said.
