Prologue
In the dark chamber that was filled with nothing but dark energy itself, a mysterious figure was looking at the two big screens. The figure is currently observing the two main characters that were caught in his eyes.
"These two…they might be the one that I needed," The figure said in deep tone while observing the two figures that was appeared on big screens.
On the left screen, the character is a blue hedgehog and wears a red sneaker. What caught his attention is that this hedgehog has tremendous speed and it's hard for anyone to catch up with him. One more thing is that he defeated many enemies during his time, whether with the help of his friend or doing it by himself.
On the other screen, the character is a blonde teenager. His age was around 13 judging by his appearances but what caught his attention is that this one is very athletic, quite similar with the hedgehog before and he recently has become a hero in other world called Flonyard, a world where animals lived there instead of humans.
"Sonic and Cinque…it looks like they may hold the future that I was fear of," the man turned off the screens and went to pick up some of his stuff. "But…I need to see myself if they worthy of my choice or not. I guess I have to be 'bad' guy until they have reached their potential."
He picked up his mask from near table and put it on to his face. The motif of his mask is like a fox with whiskers mark on it. He then grabbed his coat that was put on his hangers, wear it and covered his hair as well. That way nobody would notice his appearance except if that person can detect his type of energy, which he didn't care too much about it.
"Now then…" He walked from his place and prepared to leave, before saying his last word. "It's time for me to teach them and hopefully," his chain came out from his sleeve and touched the ground. "They have the ability to do what I expected."
With that moment and sudden gust of wind, the figure disappeared and went into his original mission, but what is this fear that he was talked earlier? Only he knows the answer of it.
