Hannah turned her back on Seeley, made her way to her car, and drove to his house to pack her things.
On the ride there, she contemplated what she had done. Well that was simple, she said no, no to his marriage proposal. But why? Because, she was not the type to marry. However, there was another reason why. Hannah knew that deep down, Seeley was still in love with Temperance, no matter how much she tried to deny it, it was obvious the secrets they shared, secrets that they were in love with each other.
She packed her things absent-mindedly; once she was in her car, she dialed Temperance.
"Hello Hannah is there something wrong?" came Temperance's voice, clearly alarmed, she quickly sat aside some papers she was writing about their latest case, which they had closed earlier that day.
"Nothing-well a lot- you see Seeley proposed." Hannah said, quietly, stopping at a red light.
"I feel that should be congratulating you and Booth on the great news but I can hear the disagreement in your voice." Said Bones, careful to not sound like she was smiling, instead replacing it with worry.
"Yea...I said no." Hannah said as the light turned green and she continued to drive.
"But why? I thought you were in love with Booth?" Bones asked, sounding perplexed.
"I was, but it moved to fast, I'm not the marring type Temperance." Hannah said frustrated.
"Oh I see." Bones said plainly.
"Can you go check on him? I don't know where he's at but maybe you can track him down, see how he's feeling."
"Yea I'll do that," said Bones smiling.
"Thanks Temperance, I hope we can still be friends, I wouldn't want something like this to end our friendship." Hannah said kindly.
"Of course Hannah, I have an educated guess where he'll be; I guess I'll call you later?" it wasn't a lie, Hannah proved to be a good friend to her, she counted her as one of her few friends which was Angela, Booth, Amy her brother's wife, Cam, Hodgins, on some level Daisy, and Hannah.
"Yea later." they hung up.
Well there you have it! We were bored and did this on no sleep for two days so sorry if there any mistakes. Spell check was being stupid it changed things to thongs and when we saw it, we laughed... Okay then review!
