A thick pounding rung in my head as I woke up from another night of hangovers. I turned my head to the side to check the time; it stated 9:12, as far as I could see through my blurry vision.

"Oh sh-", I stopped myself before swearing. "Shoot, I'm late!"

I jumped out of bed, still dizzy from the night before. I rushed to get my clothing on (not noticing that it was from last night… or that it was backwards), grabbed my phone off the wooden nightstand (it's covered in so many lyric sheets that I'm not even sure it's wooden) and ran out the door.

"Woah, Tyler, what happened to you?" Asked my manager as I threw open the studio doors. "Are you starting a new fashion trend? 'Cause I don't think it will catch on."

I peered down at my outfit and realized the source of the teasing: everything I was wearing was backwards! I laughed nervously, reassuring him this was malicious, and then excused myself.

Thanking the gods there was nobody walking in the hallways, I discreetly slipped into the bathroom to review my life choices.

"What the hell is wrong with me!" I yelled to myself in the lavatory stall. A pair of red and white plaid shoes stepped into the doorway.

"Umm.." The shoes said. "I don't mean to overhear, but are you ok?"

I stopped for a second and wondered if spilling my secrets was a good thing to do with a stranger. I slowly opened the stall door assuring the figure I was fully dressed.

"Well, actually I'm not doing that great. To be honest." I told the man. I couldn't stop looking at his pink hair.

He smiled and I noticed he had tiny dimples. He stuck out his hand and then pulled it back.

"No, I didn't actually go to the bathroom. I was just… reviewing my life decisions." I felt for some reason I could be brutally honest with this guy.

"Well, do you wanna go review your life decisions with me over a drink later on?" He asked, showing me his hand again. "I'm Josh, by the way. Josh Dun."
