Revised! I still don't care for this story, though.
Author's Note: It's been a long time since I've written anything and I'm sorry for that. I hated leaving people hanging like that, but I have had almost six months of stressful experiences on my shoulders and I could barely take care of myself let alone write anything. Thankfully, times are great, and my desire to write has returned. This is just a short drabble, but I hope you guys enjoy it.
Dark tones with light cursing used. Implied murder. Nothing much else to say. :P
Cartman's POV - He's very OOC in this story, but that's because it was necessary for the tone I was going for.

The sky was about as dark as I felt while I walked home after the worst day of work in my life. My boss decided to treat me like his little bitch again in front of everyone in the office. It's not like it was any different than any other day, but I finally got tired of it, called him an asshole, and was fired because of it. I can't stand being laughed at. I can't stand my shitty life.
I sighed as my dilapidated apartment building came into view, pulled the only key out of my pocket, and opened the door into my bleak "home." My first thought was something was amiss when I smelled a sweet aroma wafting in from the kitchen. I dropped my briefcase, closed the door as quietly as I could, and snuck through the living room, the dining room, and then peeked into the kitchen.
My jaw dropped when I saw Kyle facing the stove, donned in a pink apron, putting the finishing touches on a small dinner for two. As my shock turned into a tentative happiness I stepped into the kitchen and began walking towards him.
Halfway there, the walls crumbled around me. I was paralyzed. I watched as Kyle slowly turned towards me, smiling with rotted teeth, decayed lips, and missing skin. Blind eyes stared back at me as I screamed myself awake.
I sat up in bed panting, closed my eyes, shook my head, slowed my breath, and sighed. I opened them again when I heard thunder boom in the distance and the patter of rain on the wood floor through the open window. I stood up to close the window when thunder boomed again. Lightning crisscrossed the sky and gave enough light to see Kyle's dead form hovered outside. He stared and laughed at me.
Note: Really short and really different from the kinds of stories I usually read and write, but I felt a little on the dark side today. Let me know what you guys think.
