The Talent of a Ghost
* This is poems I imagine that the Ghost Crew would have written during sessions two. I'm starting with Sabine looking at how Hera's feeling as well as her own about Kanan and Ezra. Of course other members will be writing these in my mind as well. This one is one I imagine she wrote in her sketchbook while Kanan and Ezra were on Malachor.
Emotions of a Ghost
Lost were we, then found each other
A life of freedom we all sought
In this crew we found a mother
Then as a family, not a crew we fought
Together each a sister or brother,
Father, mother, sons, and daughter we each saw each other
Why we fought?
Not for ourselves but for others
So they might be free
Then a time came a bigger role we grew
Now we were a family fighting in a war
Fear it was we'd lose a member
Help we need, from a like minded crew
Still blind were we of what to come
A dark enemies we faced
with bravery we fought
Then came a time of potential sacrifice
Our guide and soul we might well lose
Or so the Twi-lik pilot thought
To lose her love is to lose her heart
To lose her son was almost a worst thought
Approval of their reasoning masked her feelings well
The first to normal see such thing
Blind her Jedi love became
See through her mask I was the only one
For the same emotions I also felt my heart too at risk
The truth I had to make them see
confronted him then with her
She expressed her fears
Promise he that we would reunite once more
Hope had we both her and I that they would return
That once again we'd see our loves
And they saw us in return
And with that promise with a friend they left
To rid of one dark enemy that only they could fight
Despite the danger still none of us did dream
That upon their return
Only half the promise the older made
Was able to be kept
Our father, truly bind was he
Of my brother, left only a shell
The boy we loved was no more
In his place a broken soul
We saw them but they not us
Or so we all thought
Reality was these weren't the Jedi we loved
The people that they were are dead
Yet there bodies still walk
Would we ever get our Jedi back
Our fearless Jedi Master
and his witty Padawan
