Disclaimer: I don't own Smallville. Duh.
She tried not to stare. She really did, but it was hard not to, when she had a disheveled and wet Green Arrow stripping a few meters from her.
She cleared her throat to make her presence known, though she would have expected him to actually know that she was there since he was in the middle of the Watchtower.
He had the decency to jump a little, as if surprised.
"Oh, hey Chloe," he said, throwing a look over his shoulder before continuing his small strip show.
"Ollie?" she called, a little embarrassed, as she heard the zipper of his leather shirt going down. He had already gotten rid of his boots and of his gloves. "Huh, what are you doing? Weren't you supposed to be patrolling?"
She quickly walked down the stairs, suddenly afraid that something had gone wrong during his patrol and that he had now come here because he needed her help.
He turned around, finally free of that leather shirt.
"Nah, seems like criminals don't really like that kind of weather," he grinned at her, explaining why he was done so early. As if on cue, the thunder roared, and rain splashed heavily against the Watchtower windows.
She tried to focus on what he was saying. She really did, but it was hard to when she saw his undershirt clinging to his chest like that. Had he run out of black undershirts? Because today he was wearing a white one, and as drenched as Ollie was, the shirt had turned kind of transparent and left little to imagination.
She licked her lips, suddenly annoyed at herself for stopping his little striptease. Would he have gotten rid of the undershirt… and of his pants as well?
"Chloe?"
She shook her head, forcing herself to focus her eyes on his face.
"Mind if I take a shower?" he asked, again it seemed. He was looking at her with an amused expression, as if he was actually enjoying the little exchange.
"Huh, I – no," she could only reply when she realized that during her previous little daydream, he had finally gotten rid of the undershirt.
She tried not to stare at his chest. She really did but it was hard not to when it was well… there, and shiny and wet. Her throat was suddenly really dry, and she couldn't stop herself from licking her lips again when her eyes took sight of a small droplet of water trickling from that sculpted chest down to his…
She lifted her eyes, and forced herself to look back at his face. He was grinning at her.
"You want some help with that shower, Arrow?" she asked, hopeful.
"I thought you'd never ask."
