Abby smiled another secret smile. It was better that Doctor Magnus thought that Gibbs's kisses were just "an innocent gesture of affection", but Abby couldn't help but think of their true meaning. Not long after wrapping up the Reynosa Cartel case, Abby had told Gibbs her true feelings. Now, the cheek kisses were a sign of office appropriate affection and Abby knew that every evening (or sometimes morning) when she got home there would office inappropriate affection.
