Chapter 1

*I do not own anything from the Harry Potter series.

Harry Potter could remember it like it was yesterday. He could see Ginny's face drain of life. He even remembered exactly what it felt like. It was as if he could never live fully again. It was almost as if his heart was made of glass and it had shattered in a million pieces.

Harry sat in a chair in his bedroom at 12 Grimmauld Place. It was Christmas time. He remembered that just two years ago he was sitting in the Burrow with Ginny opening presents. He opened the book in this lap.

Together we could bring them back.

Those were the words that kept replaying over and over in his head. He could remember Voldemort giving him the option of joining him and bringing his parents back. His first year at Hogwarts had been a hard one and it didn't get much better after that. But Voldemort was dead now and all that was lost was the love of his life.

Harry read through the book. He needed to find the answer to bring her back. He had pretty much went through all the book in Grimmauld Place and was getting to the point that he was going to need to ask Hermione but he couldn't be discovered. Resurrection was considered dark magic. If only he could find the resurrection stone that he dropped in the forbidden forest. Harry knew looking for a stone that small in a forest that big was pretty much like searching for a needle in a hay stack. The resurrection stone wouldn't bring Ginny back forever though. He needed a permanent way to bring her back.

Harry had never done so much reading in his entire life. He was just about to give up on the current 700 pager when he noticed a few promising words. He read on and finished the page. He had heard of spells to counteract other spells but a spell that counteracted Avada Kedavra was dark magic, everyone knew that it was risky and dangerous to meddle in the otherworld. Harry had always been good at meddling where he wasn't supposed to meddle. The question was, was he willing to use dark magic and risk Azkaban and going against what he stands for to bring back the girl that could put back together the pieces of his broken heart?

Necromancy was very difficult and has never been recorded as successful. However, Harry was determined. It didn't matter that it was illegal and all attempts have only resulted in Inferi. Generally Necromancy was just raising the dead for a short period of time. In the wizarding world Necromancy is a form of potion that counteracts the Avada Kedavra curse instead of the Muggle idea that they raise zombies.

Harry began gathering as many simple ingredients as he can. Shredded Boomslang Skin, flubberworm Mucous and other household ingredients were easy. However, Harry needed one ingredient that would be extremely difficult to find. He needed a piece of the person that killed Ginny. That person would be Voldemort. He needed to find anypiece of Voldemort. Harry knew that the easiest way to obtain that would be to find a piece of a destroyed Horcrux.

It was time that he went on his search. Harry left the book open on the table missing a few words in small print.
