Chapter one: The prophecy
Hi, I am new here. My oc's names are Luna and Sora. Sora is a girl, so don't ask! . Anyway, their dad is kyuubi, the nine tailed fox. They do have different moms, both died when they were born. Sora is three years older than Luna is, yet Luna has more power. Her mother was the third generation of half demons in their clan, Luna's great grandmother being the first half demon ever created. With her as the fourth generation, she is barely human. Any words, girls?
Luna: hey, I hope you enjoy our life story. Most of it focuses on my life, when … I don't want to ruin it for you!
Sora: anyway, we hope you like reading our life struggles.
A few birds chirped above ground, enjoying the sunlight. Underground was a different story.
Far below ground, about a mile, was a gate. Beyond that gate and the many passageways leading to it was a vast city made of stone. Many scrawl writings were left on the walls, engraved with the names of the first of their kind. These people below ground were afraid of what could happen to them if they were to go above their homeland.
However, one woman was not afraid at all. Her name is Luna. She was a young fifteen year old girl, wanting to know what the sun felt like, what humans were really like. Yet something held her back. The mark on her right eye strikes fear into her enemies, and scars wrapping around her back like a bandage showed them her terrible past. They showed her father's power, even when he was holding back.
"Luna. We need to talk." An eighteen year old said, sitting next to her.
"What? Are you trying to talk me out of thinking about the surface?"
"Look, a human forced dad to hurt you. If he gets his hands on you, you will die."
"Sora. I'm not five anymore. Besides, I've been training."
"Just please don't think about it." She sighed, walking away. Luna was left with her thoughts, and they were all about the surface world, such as "what is their food like?"
"Do they hunt?"
"Do they fight?"
"Is there anybody who understands us?"
I got to stop thinking about it. I need to put it into action. Quickly, Luna sat up and stood on the windowsill. She was finally going to do what she dreamed of. Living above ground without anything holding her back.
"Goodbye, Sora. Goodbye, my people." She sighed. "Hello, fresh air and new experiences." She jumped off the sill and ran through the long streets. Nothing could stop her. All of the other half demons were fast asleep. Now was her time to finally experience what it felt like to run through the forest again.
Luna looked behind her. She would miss Sora, but she had other things planned for her.
Hmm… that prophecy we had heard… I wonder if it has something to do with this…
"The Sun and Moon are now equals, sharing their home,
Soon they will break apart,
the Moon finding its way to where it truly belongs.
Their paths will only cross again when the Moon has found a new life,
Beyond her foretold one."
It has to mean something.
A stone was all that was left between her and the open space called the surface.'
"Release!" She yelled, putting her hands together in a ball. The stone quickly removed itself from its place and cast the faint white glow of the moon over her. This is it. Goodbye, my kind. Hello, human life.
