This is the Prologue to "Open Your Hearts Maidens!" So please enjoy my first attempt.
Prologue~
"Shizuku don't!" yelled a panicking Nagi as he ran up to Shizuku standing on the edge of the cliff.
There she was, the Cape Maiden of The Sea, her beautiful eyes and body standing on the very edge of the cape Nagi and her had come to love. But this night the cape that held the memories of the two of them, felt dark and not because of the night sky.
"Dragon God can't you see it is my duty to go back to the sea, just like the first maiden of the sea." she said a frown visible on her face. Of course she was hurt, he was the love of her life, and now he would disappear from her life. "Nagi I'm sorry I have to do this." She mentally told herself.
She falls backwards, as if in slow motion and the world freezes. Nagi runs up to the edge to see the falling body, panicking he becomes frozen in shock of the sudden current events then he hears a voice. "Show me your conviction" and as if all fear left his heart he dives in to save the falling Shizuku.
"I will save you Shizuku even if I kill myself in doing so!" He thought to himself. Swiming as his body got heavier and heavier as he swam for the drowning Shizuku. But all the sudden a force prevents him from moving and he sees an apparition.
"What will you do? Your body is getting tired between the pain and the pressure of saving her." said the apparition in a piercing tone. It was true his body was getting tired but how could he help it.
"Show me your conviction! Be the man you are Nagi and save her!" The apparition spoke in a loud tone pointing at Nagi. As if reborn Nagi felt no fatigue and swam faster than ever! Grabbed the drowning Shizuku. As he raced to the surface once again his body started to feel heavy again. But finally he reaches the surface.
"Come back to me Shizuku! I won't let you die!" He yelled to the lifeless Shizuku. What could he do he can't bring people back to life on his own. He's not some divine being, hes only the embodiment of a god. But he has to do something and thats when he broke down.
"Shizuku! I love you so much, can't you see!? I love everything about you, whether its the stern cape maiden, or the sweet smiling Shizuku I love you regardless! So please...please come back." He cried out in tears. And then as if his cries were heard, her eyes slowly opening, glistening in the moonlight. His tears vanish and he smiles and holds her tight.
"Don't you ever do that again Shizuku. You scared me to death." He spoke in a soft soothing voice and all that starts well ends well. Or so he thought.
